The Participation in the Awareness Of Practical Work

The Jordanian Hotels Association participated in the Awareness Practical Day organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Archaeology to inform students about job opportunities within the tourism sector. This event took place at the Jordanian University’s Aqaba Branch

Under the auspices of Mr. Nayef Hamidi Al-Fayez, the Chairman of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, the Ministry of Tourism and Archaeology, in collaboration with the Jordanian University’s Aqaba Branch and specialized tourist associations, conducted an awareness day on Tuesday. The primary goal was to introduce students to various job opportunities available within the tourism sector

During the event, Mr. Mustafa Kaush, the General Manager of the Jordanian Hotels Association, actively participated. He provided insights into job opportunities within the hotel sector, emphasizing the skills necessary to excel in this field and how to leverage these skills for success in the workplace. He also highlighted the association’s ongoing commitment to supporting young Jordanians, facilitating their entry into the job market, and providing training to equip them for roles within the hotel industry

The Awareness Day’s objectives encompass identifying employment possibilities across hotels, tourist restaurants, travel agencies, tour operators, handicraft shops, and traditional industries. It also seeks to underline the economic value generated by the tourism sector and the requisite skills to thrive within this job market. Furthermore, the event aims to foster social inclusion and empower women through economic engagement in projects of varying scales, including small, medium, and large enterprises
